7th Hole Summary: An easier par 4 not without challenges and possibilities for disaster. A 25-yard wide fairway bunker sits about 235 off the tee. This bunker is a thin low-lipped sliver and is more a visual than actual menace. In the beautifully hand-drawn MacKenzie routing map found in the clubhouse this bunker has a more free flowing design and looks like it would be far more punishing than what's in place today. A good drive leaves a mid-iron. This green has one of the more severely upsloping front to back surfaces on the course and is guarded by deep bunkers left and right. Curiously however, good looking approach shots can and do run through this green. It is a disaster to be over the 7th green.
